The Nouveau Grand Tour<\/h1>\n

\n<\/strong>The Nouveau Grand Tour, conceived and designed by the Institut fran\u00e7ais Italia (IFI) \/ Embassy of France in Italy, is an artistic residency project aimed at young European talents under the age of 30<\/strong> and implemented throughout Italy through a network of partner institutions. Among the main challenges of the Quirinal Treaty<\/a>, this important artistic program promotes cultural dialogue and European values of exchange and sharing.<\/p>\n

This project inaugurates a contemporary form of the 18th-century tradition of the Grand Tour, which allowed the youth of Europe to travel from city to city to discover artistic heritage. This New Grand Tour will offer selected young artists the opportunity to be accompanied in their creative process<\/strong>, without production constraints, and in so doing to connect with various local cultural actors.<\/p>\n

Since its inception, the New Grand Tour has benefited from the support of the Franco-German Office for Youth (OFAJ)<\/strong> in dialogue with the Goethe Institut<\/strong>, thus enabling young German and French artists to be welcomed in residence throughout Italy. Ardian<\/strong> has supported the program since its first edition in 2022.<\/p>\n

In addition, from 2023, thanks to the collaboration with the Italian Ministry of Culture, France will host 50 young Italian artists each year in 25 partner residencies<\/a>. In 2024, the Netherlands<\/strong> will participate in the program, allowing 20 young French artists to work in ten residencies in the Netherlands and 2 Dutch artists to work in two Italian residencies. This is made possible thanks to the Embassy and Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Italy<\/strong> and the Mondriaan Fund<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Nouveau Grand Tour is a multidisciplinary program aimed at artists from all fields of creation<\/strong>: visual arts (painting, sculpture, photography, audiovisual, etc.), performing arts (theater, dance, circus, performance, music and sound creation), as well as CCI (fashion, design, architecture and landscape, gastronomy, crafts). For performing arts, some partners can accommodate companies or collectives.<\/p>\n

The artists selected for this new 2024 edition are Alice Pan<\/strong> and Victoria Brun<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

About the artists<\/strong>
\nAlice Pan<\/strong> is an emerging French-Italian dancer, performer and choreographer. Her projects are meant to be moments of encounter and sharing, aimed at conveying a tangible sensibility in a reality increasingly dominated by solitude and technological individualism.
\nIn 2018 Alice received a Bachelor’s degree from the Iwanson International School of Contemporary Dance in Munich and in 2022 a Master’s degree in Contemporary Dance at the London School of Contemporary Dance in London. Also in 2022, in parallel with her dance training, she completed a Bachelor’s degree in DAMS, at the University of Bologna.
\nAlice currently works as a freelance performer in Paris and collaborates with Damien Jalet and Serena Malacco (Compagnie Jukebox), among others.<\/p>\n

Victoria Brun<\/strong> is an Italian-born French dancer, performer and choreographer. Drawing inspiration from instinctual movement and the postmodernist current, her work is enriched by the people she meets along her artistic path. Having a strong passion for cinema, she has contributed to the creation of numerous personal and non-personal videos.
\nShe currently works as a freelance dancer\/performer and choreographer in France, collaborating with various choreographers, visual artists, musicians, writers and directors. <\/strong><\/p>\n

\nIl Nouveau Grand Tour, ideato e concepito dall\u2019Institut fran\u00e7ais Italia (IFI) \/ Ambasciata di Francia in Italia, \u00e8 un progetto di residenze artistiche rivolto a giovani talenti europei<\/strong> sotto i trent\u2019anni e realizzato in tutta Italia, attraverso una rete di istituzioni partner. Tra le principali sfide del Trattato del Quirinale<\/strong><\/a>, questo importante programma artistico promuove il dialogo culturale e i valori europei di scambio e condivisione.<\/p>\n

Questo progetto inaugura una  forma contemporanea della tradizione settecentesca del Grand Tour, che ha permesso ai giovani d\u2019Europa di viaggiare di citt\u00e0 in citt\u00e0 alla scoperta del patrimonio artistico. Questo Nuovo Grand Tour offrir\u00e0 ai giovani artisti selezionati l\u2019opportunit\u00e0 di essere accompagnati nel loro processo creativo<\/strong>, senza vincoli di produzione, e cos\u00ec facendo di entrare in contatto con diversi attori culturali locali.
\n <\/p>\n

Fin dal suo avvio, il Nuovo Grand Tour ha beneficiato del sostegno dell\u2019Ufficio franco-tedesco per la giovent\u00f9 (OFAJ)<\/strong> in dialogo con il Goethe Institut<\/strong>, consentendo cos\u00ec a giovani artisti tedeschi e francesi di essere accolti in residenza in tutta Italia. Ardian<\/strong> sostiene il programma dalla prima edizione  nel 2022. <\/p>\n

Inoltre, dal 2023, grazie alla collaborazione con il Ministero della Cultura italiano, la Francia ospita ogni anno 50 giovani artisti italiani in 25 residenze partner<\/a><\/strong>. Nel 2024, i Paesi Bassi<\/strong> partecipano al programma, permettendo a 20 giovani artisti francesi di lavorare in dieci residenze nei Paesi Bassi e a 2 artisti olandesi di lavorare in due residenze italiane. Ci\u00f2 \u00e8 reso possibile grazie all\u2019Ambasciata e al Consolato Generale del Regno dei Paesi Bassi in Italia<\/strong> e al Mondriaan Fund<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Il Nouveau Grand Tour \u00e8 un programma multidisciplinare rivolto ad artisti di tutti i campi della creazione<\/strong>: arti visive (pittura, scultura, fotografia, audiovisivo, ecc.), arti performative (teatro, danza, circo, performance, musica e creazione sonora), nonch\u00e9 la CCI (moda, design, architettura e paesaggio, gastronomia, artigianato). Per le arti performative, alcuni partner possono accogliere compagnie o collettivi. <\/p>\n

Le artiste selezionate per questa nuova edizione 2024 sono Alice Pan<\/strong> e Victoria Brun<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Sulle artiste<\/strong>
\nAlice Pan<\/strong> e\u0300 una danzatrice, performer e coreografa emergente franco-italiana. I suoi progetti vogliono essere momenti di incontro e condivisione, volti a trasmettere una sensibilita\u0300 tangibile in una realta\u0300 sempre piu\u0300 dominata dalla solitudine e dall\u2019individualismo tecnologico.
\n<\/span>Nel 2018 Alice ha conseguito la laurea triennale presso la Iwanson International School of Contemporary Dance di Monaco di Baviera e nel 2022 un Master in Danza Contemporanea alla London School of Contemporary Dance di Londra. Sempre nel 2022, parallelamente al suo percorso coreutico, consegue la laurea triennale in DAMS, presso l\u2019Universita\u0300 di Bologna.

Traendo ispirazione dal movimento istintivo e dalla corrente postmodernista, la sua attivita\u0300 si arricchisce grazie alle persone che incontra lungo il suo cammino artistico.
